Yeah. Not good. I'll take that back. For what they are, or where they are, they do the trick, give you a piano sound to write with/work with. Are they etc etc? No. But if you want a piano sound IN Auxy then they're more than fine.

There. Don't feel such a shit now. :)

  • The piano ones were ok, something a bit different from the stock sounds. And a few of them were kinda weird/effected and not very piano-like which I liked. The 2 newer packs were a little too samey to the stock content for me. Not bad sounds, but not radically different either. I probably will wait for maybe a bundle sale or something before I buy anymore. I love Auxy, but $5 a pop for 11 sounds that I'm not thrilled about is a little tough to swallow.

Wish they had a better way to preview the sounds in the packs before you buy for those prices.

  • ok then...............lol

  • Yeah they're not mind blowing, I guess you buy them if you already love Auxy. Which I don't think I'm buying anymore of their shit until they put a damned keypad or something in there.

  • Auxy would almost compete with Korg gadget if it had midi control in, IAA, and better names for its synth engines. The sounds in it are quite compelling, but I'm not going to invest in a completely closed system, especially when gadget is getting an audio gadget.

    What Audio Gadget?

An actual sample wave audio tool?

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • I got the piano pack and I think it's nice. Maybe I would buy some lofi vintage soundracky synth sounds or some funky electric pianos and horns, I think Auxy is cool, I'd like to support them but I'm not going to buy any generic EDM sounds wouldn't download those if they were free.

  • I got the piano pack and in my opinion it's very nice and essential to Auxy's experience. Rest of the packs I don't really care for as it already has more than enough electronic sounds.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that gadget will get and update with an audio recording gadget for vocals and hopefully iaa, and an electric guitar gadget. Due out march

    Agree completely.
The pianos are OK, but the "sound of vivrant"? Yeesh. And I haven't heard the "7 skies" selection, but I'm dubious. I'm in more of a Caustic mood, it seems.

Edit: Here's the '7 Skies Selection' — for the EDM dj who hates joy.

    Under a bridge.

    Get it straight.

Rocks are smoked not lived under.

Some people under the bridge smoke rocks.

Needless to say, they don't do Korg Gadget.

Oh, but they will. Or are they into the Caustic update?
