Mine recalls fine when saved as an Audiobus preset when AU hosted in AUM.
Yes that wa a while ago
, they finally fixed it after my 20th email.
Precisely....I have an iPod Touch that I ONLY use for Impaktor (until I can afford a NordDrum 3P
) but I never thought to try feeding a drum machine to it. I will try this after work today.... Cool beans.
Try samvada too.
Running vocals or dialogue clips through grain shift in gadget is ace !
I do the same thing. An old iPod Touch just with Impaktor, and I run an e-pad trigger into it.
I’ve never been able to figure out how to trigger Impaktor effectively, how do you set up an e-pad and do you have a link for the product? (excuse my ignorance)
I use an iRig Pro (sometimes a regular iRig, but you could use any iOS friendly audio interface) hooked up to my iPad/iPod etc. I run a 1/4" cable from iRig to an electronic drum trigger that you can then tape or glue to any hard surface. I stick mine on a practice pad or a Cajon or a small frame drum sometimes. Or you could buy an e-Pad that has a 1/4" input and has a drum trigger already inside it. I’ll find a link in a few....
Yup, same here, regular iRig. My first effort was using an old Yamaha single-zone drum pad I found for $30 used. Later went to the local electronics shop and bought a piezo transducer. Took it apart, wired it to a 1/4" jack, and installed it in an old tobacco tin.
(You can also buy these piezos ready-made.)
I too have used my with my cajon - just made a bracket for it that it slides into (the cajon is homemade so no qualms about adding bits to it).
TC Voice rack ,the best IMHO
Agreed, this thing is awesome!
Thanks guys, this helps clarify a lot!
I happen to have an irig lying around, I think I just need to get my hands on a piezo mic and I’ll be good to go. Impaktor is really great, it’ll be good to have more control.
Can you get Samvada to load in AUM? I just got it and am on the latest iOS, and no dice.
You are right it doesn’t work on AUM or AB3 as fx. Also the “more info” buttons brings a dead link to non existant server so it maybe abandonwarr at this point and one of these gems like impaktor that will be kept in old device as jewel...
Anyone knows if the developer is audiobus forum member?
Who is the actual moderator?
