Cancelling a Midi assignment in AUM?

Hi guys.

While Midi-Learning AUM I've inadvertently assigned my channels to Solo whereas I wanted to assign Mute.

Outcome is that both Mute & Solo are now assigned to to the same control but I can't find a way of deleting the original 'Solo' assignment.

Any good folk know the answer to this one?

Cheers in advance.

  • Easy, long click or double click on the CC, in the popup, just clic the cross.
    Gone :)

Hey @crony Thanks for this, however it's still not quite working for me.

The long click doesn't do anything for me however a double click does result in an "Edit Value" pop-up. It has the option to set a new CC number but not to delete the assignment altogether.

I'll try and get a screenshot up here shortly.

@SpookyZoo look better, on the field itself ! On the right, there's a cross ! :)
It's in the popup, while you double click indeed.

  • Do you see it ?

  • Ha, Snap!

Yes I get this too, but it doesn't allow you to actually delete the assignment it only allows you to change the number assigned.

  • LOL , hold on...

  • So basically I'm wanting to remove any control from being assigned to Solo.

It appears all this allows me to do is change the number, not remove it.

Happy to be proved wrong. :)

  • @Crony Thanks, but I do see the 'x'

However it doesn't remove the assignment.

It just allows you to change the number of the assignment.

  • If you press the cross, then close the popup, it appears as "off" this is what it does here...
It says "0" but then it's off !
Look my screenshot, my controller is set to off, with the 0 value.

  • Found it!

Left < arrow on Midi Channel to OFF.

    :)

@Crony Cheers for the input. Good to know how to change the number in future.

@SpookyZoo seems you found a second way to do that I was ignoring, because my trick does set to "off" also ! :) (and also can change the value...)

No worries, for some reason the pop-up method wouldn't work for me.
