AUv3 effects campaign
I've committed to spending some time this year contacting desktop effects / synth companies to take a look at iOS AUv3 versions. ... encouraging responses so far. I'm hoping to see cool results by Winter NAMM 2018
What companies / effects do you think could work out on iOS AUv3? I'd like to add more to the campaign.
Comments

And well it doesn't hurt to get in touch with https://www.digitalsoundfactory.com and ask for an AUv3 Player for their SoundFonts (Image a well working AUv3 SoundFont player with an IAP-Store for quality content?).
I've gotten negative responses from all of them the results can be summed as 'market is not big enough'.
I wish you good luck!
How about Tokyo Dawn Labs ?

These guys might be interested as they have an interesting pricing structure, basically they give away all their plugins for free but give additional functionality for a (comparatively) cheap price.
The plugins are well regarded by many.
Also soundtoys would be a great fit on ios , although I think there could be a price vs effort issue there ..
I'm surprised there hasn't been any news from fabfilter yet bearing in mind that they already ported for Auria, I guess the limitations of the auv3 format may make it difficult for some to commit.
Holderness apps+999999
I would also do anything for Turnado AU
I talked to fabfilter a few months ago. They were evaluating it.
Cool, fingers crossed !
I'd just be happy to get AUFX and Holderness apps ported. We already know they're conservative on resources. It'd be fun to use some of the FabFilter outside of Auria but resource wise, not sure I could really run more than one of those at a time anyway.
Crystalline and Echopad! Holderness!!!!!!
