Ah got ya. More of a Synth thing?
Good to know anyway, thanks. I may dig into it a bit more and get my head around it. I only really use Viking Synth in a professional setting so I'll have a look and see if that one is can receive it.
I don't understand.
This can be used also for effects ( for instance Turnado loading an other preset, and then control it with the same midi controller...same cc's... )
Also important, for AUx synths and multiple instances, you assign once for all to the right cc, the AUx instances, then you may choose the presets you need.
So it "replace" state saving, by something that is existing for 40 years more or less...
