Apple Said to Debut New iPad Pro Lineup, 128GB iPhone SE, and Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus at March Event
In terms of the iPad Pro lineup, the report claims Apple will announce new 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch models. The 10.5-inch model may not ship until May, while the other sizes are said to ship in March.
If the report is accurate, it would suggest Apple plans to refresh the iPad mini 4 with a new 7.9-inch iPad Pro model, update its existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, and introduce an all-new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which is widely rumored to feature an edge-to-edge display without a Home button.

Probably will look sexiers than ever. But hope they don't will drop the 3.5 plug. This would probably mean quite a disaster for a lot of iMusicians.

Apple also bought a company called Realface, that has some state of the art facial recognition software. Probably be in the new iphones for sure. Not sure about the ipads.
I saw a rumor that the new 12.9 will have 6gig RAM
I was hoping for a "real" pro with 15" and iOS plus.
USB-C please. C'mon it's time to get the freaking iOS devices to pro level!
But maybe they put in a smaller battery to make it thinner and then more external hardware don't get enough power. I'm really not too excited these days for a faster cpu and maybe more RAM but the rest is the same or even a step back.
Anyone know how those 12.9 inch iPad sell? I hardly see the in the wild.
Don't know how they sell, but do know I love the one I have....
I was really hoping for the 11.3" screen. Damn you Apple!
7.9-inch Pro with Pencil would be absolutely fantastic for me.
Depending on the specs, I may opt for a 7.9" iPad Pro model. It has to be more powerful than my iPad Air 2 (even if not as powerful as the rest of the iPad Pro 2 line), same ram if not more ram, AT LEAST 128gb storage space (256gb or more being optimal), and most importantly....a headphone jack! If it has no headphone jack, well f- that one then.
Then again, I may opt for the 10.5" one if that one has the headphone jack. I love my 9.7" Air 2, but I'd love a larger screen size without the extra bulk. If that means no home button, so be it.
Decisions, decisions.
10.5? What is this, Android? I thought Apple liked its developers.
The new 10.5" iPad would have the exact same resolution as the 12.9" iPad Pro (2732 x 2048), but the same pixel density of the iPad mini (326 ppi instead of 264 ppi).

Same. Love mine. I have seen like 20-30 in the wild. Don't know if that's good or bad. I see more iPad 2 and 3 than anything else.
Wow, I'm so happy with the 9.7inch screen size on my Air2 and after spending 5 minutes with a friends 12.9inch Pro last month I was totally sold on the 9.7" screen for certain. Just too jumbly & awkward was the big Pro for me.
But a new size iPad at 10.5? That could seriously be just enough extra real estate to keep it compact & mobile but have enough of the Pro 12.9 to benefit from expanded Pro apps. Very interesting.
I gotta see em in person first, but im definitely getting either the 9.7 or the 10.5 , if the 10.5 really is no bigger than 9.7... so excited! I havent had any issue swith my ipad mini 4 beyond a few freeze ups, but my art sure will appreciate the Apple pencil!
I'm definitely interested in a 10.5 as long as they don't do something stupid like removing the headphone jack.
bluetooth is freaking pointless for live playing keyboards. the latency just takes me completely out of the creative space. and yes. i have tested this with the iphone 7. and no. the headphone adapter is freaking pointless since i cannot use the cck3 alongside the lightening headphone jack.
Probably wait as long as possible with upgrading as soon as they remove the headphone jack. The few peple I know that update to an iPhone 7 have are or inconvient with their lighting to headphone jack adapter (feels vunerable) or lost their adapter and had to replace it or screwed their lighting port (bending the lighting adapter). If you are a heavy user of headphone output the light option is just not that solid.
Nice to see they're still producing SE's, hopefully this means they won't cripple performance for a while with iOS updates.
I just hope they get rid of the bezels. A design overhaul is long overdue. I would gladly have a fatter 12.9 if it had the same battery and no bezels.
And I have to agree, the SE is perfect, good news for me if they are upgrading it. will be nice if there are some used or refurb 2017 SE models on the market later this year.
