Impulse Responses Rooms! Fiddlicator Stereo? Iphone specific
Hey everyone. Playing with impulse responses on my iphone. Using tonestack for the amps and using Rooms! and Fiddlicator as IAA in the tonestack signal chain. Its actually working out pretty well. Did have a few questions for anyone that is experienced.
I heard that Rooms! is better because it is stereo. Not sure if thats true but i havent used it yet because i guess you need the IAP to use IR on Rooms!
Working with Fiddlicator i have to load IR everytime and cant quite figure out how to save presets to the letters at the top of the main screen. Would love some way to put the irs in different folders for different purposes. I sure do have a lot of files lmao.
Any thoughts? thanks!

I don't find Fiddlicator being mono an issue, you can just put stereo effects after it, which is generally where I want them anyway. Not sure about your other issue. Fiddlicator always opens for me with the last IR I had selected.
If you want guitar cab responses, well you dont need stereo(i dont think most impulses even are stereo). If you want reverb impulses check out altispace.
Rooms is meant for reverb impulses, and its a recorder app, its a hassle to use, no eq etc. i wouldnt bother using it for guitar cab responses
Dude, to save a preset, load up an IR then do a long hold on one of the preset buttons at the top. The option to name the preset button will come up after a second or two and voila.
Wow duh. Lmao. Thanks
All good, we've all been there! I've been using cubasis for about six months and only just this week realised you can click and drag to select multiple parts. All this time I've been selecting elements one by one (which is fiddly and takes ages).
Nice! I wish i could get cubasis. I am working with just an iphone 6 right now. I am ampless right now and trying to decide if i ever even want to buy another tube amp. So far I have been super impressed. Just need to get the right feel to building these tones. getting some studio monitors would be nice too.
Fiddlicator is NOW AUv3!! Coming soon..
Cool!
So the old one appears to have been pulled from the App Store, right?
