Great app, I like mucking about with random sounds, just wish it was possible to detune it slightly, for Shortwave style phasing weirdness.
Thanks for those, my Swedish is a bit on the basic side.
Tidy darts look.
Yep remember that. Everyone shhhhhhh apple trolls abound.
/I know nothing/
thanks for the tip. Didn't know there was a radio app with IAA. It's also not mentioned in the app description. And the default radio station #2 is rather good, I recorded some interesting material tonight.
Yes MW and SW manual scanning with IAA/AU would be nice. At the moment I use two portable radios as sound sources, but their scanning is very coarse (and no MW). What I also like is the webradio http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/
Lots of interesting sounds, speech, garbled music, channels playing at the same time, etc. With a bit of patience you can even do some scanning similar to analogue radios.
thanks for that link, but it didn't work for me.
I've been looking for a bunch of URLs that I can keep on a sticky and paste into strom.
And by the way, if you're looking to avoid a certain company's trolls, is it wise to actually name the company you're seeking to avoid?
And change thread title to "Clash Of The Clans Rocks!"
To anyone having issues recording into GarageBand (I hear reports of garbled audio) I have just successfully done this so not sure where the problem lies. iPad Pro though so no danger of performance issues.
As a Pom living in Oz I find a quick blast of BBC Radio 2 oddly comforting ...
That's funny. I was listening to Radio Four via Strom earlier and felt a little Blimp-like tear....
I should have mentioned, this address is for a normal web browser
Those BBC links work well, but I feel like there are loads of obscure stations out there. The actual links remain hidden by some proprietary audio player.... will keep trying.
Not tested all of these but here are some Aussie ones:
https://radio.abc.net.au/help/streams
and the majority I've tried here seem to work:
radiosure.com/stations/
Nice. We are a very worldly crew, perhaps folks from everywhere might chip in their local streams etc....? Form some sort of silent repository....
Wow. That was a fast 75 minutes gone!!
Thank you.
Awesome find - thanks
I would like live streams of African hellfire preachers. Anyone?
Couldn't find anything, but enjoying a lost 30 minutes with Roswell UFO Radio instead.
No problem, time flies when you're surfing the airwaves and processing it in numerous ways. Chucking random stuff into ReSlice if fun.
I'd normally hope for regular updates for an app but this one will do just fine as abandonware.
iTunes has a very long list of internet radio stations divided into categories. You just need to select a station from the list and click Edit->Get Info (or press Cmd+I) to get its URL
iTunes is quite nice as a web radio player: you can mark some stations as your favorite, create playlists, add new stations to your library (via File->Open stream), etc
Are you able to record directly into Reslice or does it have to be via an Audioshare recording? Was trying to do this with various AUM and Audiobus combinations last night but with no success.
iTunes finally has a use ... Thanks!
I put Strom in the AUM input slot, ReSlice in the effects slot and it all works for me as long as I launch Strom first then add it to AUM.
If I try to launch from AUM I sometimes get silence from it. I think launching first is generally best in my experience especially if the app throws up some kind of dialog box to be acknowledged.
Ah brilliant - didn't realise you could record via the effects slot - I had it in the output. I should know this, being a big Reslice fan - looks like I'll be having fun with this later - thanks for the tip!
For the last time Mr. Goodyear: get out of my head.

Same here. When I don't know what to listen to, I turn to radiooooo.
Only 3000-4000 miles off!
you can't have everything....
I thought the "preaching" was more salient than the geography.
I am eminently conversant with matters pertaining to rain. Working on my preacher voice and am considering acquiring some snakes also...
hello,
is there another way to record / sample radio from an internal source than using an IAP radio player like strom in AUM or BM3 ?
I've a great radio player app that I would love to record / sample.
thks.
This reminds me of one of my first live gigs, using a homebuilt analogue modular synth, tape delay, and an FM radio tuned to a classical music channel. The radio went through a VCA to gate it into a long feedback and filter delay loop, and other dubby effects, in rhythmical stabs. The audience had cushions and blankets on the floor. It was very chill
