Apogee one help
Hi! I bought Apogee one few days ago, cause i wanted something portable, but after plugging it in , i discovered that the built in mic has a very high noise. when the gain is little more then half way, i cant ignore it, it seems too loud.
So i went and changed it for a different unit, thinking maybe thats a hardware issue.
Same thing. Noisy.
Updated the firmware.
Testted the hell out of it.
The preamp is much quieter, about same as my old focusrote 2i2.
Im a studio owner, and sound engineer. I have rme ufx interface that i work with.
Anyway.
Tried it on ipad, on mac, baterries, without power cord. NOISY.
I still have the option to return it and take instead apogee mic/jam or one of the zooms h6/h5
Does anyone have apogee one? And can confirm that the internal mic is more noisy then usual? ( please but only if u have experience with sound of different preams/mics, dont add to my confusion if u only used 1-2-3 preams in your life, thx) And also opinions about apogee mic/jam and zoom h5/h6 vs ONE very welcome cause i have few days to decide...
