which iDAW offers extensive viewing options?
so i'm still looking for THE iDAW which suits me. most of them don't offer viewing and zooming options the way i like it. which one would you recommend for my needs:
1 midi editor opens with zoom level 1 bar
2 midi editor opens with zoom level all used bars
3 folding piano roll
4 user definable scales
5 pinch to zoom BUT not persistent (reopening the editor defaults to 1 or 2)

Tall order. None that I can think of.
Modstep checks the most boxes
The point here isn't extensive options IMO - for example, Auria Pro pretty much offers most zooming options Logic Pro X has, if not all.
The problem here is you're asking for very specific behaviors (or customizable default parameters), not exactly a comprehensive pallete of options. And since the listed behaviors are specific to your particular needs, it makes harder for you to find them available, on iOS or elsewhere.
You can always mail WaveMachine Labs, Steinberg etc. and ask for features. Good luck!
