Actually couldn't you just plug 2 momentary switches into the XP jacks and have 6 switches with just one blueboard? I haven't tried that but I think it should be possible.

However much I love the idea of blueboard the switches are just too soft for me. I need the click but not too much like the round shiny ones on some pedals. Roland /Boss strike just the right balance.

I think for now Ill look for some more functions to assign to the rest of the pedals. It's always better to have too many than not enough :)

  • I've missed your first response @Munibeast. Using some switches for ToneStack effects is not a bad idea at all, including the expression pedal for wah etc. Thanks!

You're welcome! And yes, it's always better to have a little more than just not enough

  • Have you seen this Airturn Stomp 6?

    airturn.com/bluetooth-pedals/stomp-6

Not sure if they are out in the wild yet - but the price looks good.. I am tempted

That looks nice. But for my purposes it needs XP pedal options

  • The ability to use CCs is great but unusable with loopy, at least for me. There is a bug where as soon as I stop recording the loop starts playing from the wrong place. I remember contacting @Michael about it like 4 years ago but since then I've always used Program Change.

I guess now with Loopy 3 round the corner there's no point stressing the new Dad out with fix requests ;)

  • I went with FCB1010 and ordered Eurekaprom3. It has an interesting IO mode where everything is maped to fixed Midi (including press release and especially the leds ) making it great for pairing and programming with Midi Utilities

Would the FBV be able to solve the issues due to its ability to program each switch however needed?

I don't think so. I think the bug is in loopy and happens when momentary command is used to record without count in. I expect FBV will send the same CC like Roland. I'm surprised this bug hasn't been picked up yet.

  • That should work inderdaad
