Perhaps a dumb question: Exporting from GB to TJ

Only because I've never done it before, I exported a GB song to TJ just for gits & shiggles and then opened TJ to see what it was I had wrought... and I haven't a clue as to where the export is. It's not important, but I must be doing something wrong - going through the TJ menus didn't help locate anything with the GB song file name.

Any words of wisdom out there?
Of course, that's a stupid question...

  • I just tried it. Did you export to loops or sample? When I exported to sample I couldn't find it, but to loops, its under the loops tab, then load and loops. Pops right in and starts playing.

  • Yah - for what I thought was an obvious reason I chose 'Sample', so it's not just me. Maybe samples can't be very long, which would explain it. So I'l go back and try it again. Thanks, @Bootsy

  • Samples can only be used to make new instruments. Sorry for the confusion!

  • As a result of this thread, I did just bring a (long) loop in from GB (not something I'd tried before) and it worked out very well. TJ is simply an amazing bit of kit.

No confusion, really. I would have gotten around to trying the 'Loop' option & voila!

But - as always - I appreciated your time.
