    Ok! Thanks!,

  • I got it but I think it is cutting out and/or crashing

Otherwise I think this is a new FLUX or TURNADO substitute no doubt from the 2 days tinkering

  • Works great for me( except the mutonic bug).

Beta test for Self-a-Fuzz v1.0.1 is over.
    Now it's waiting for review.

    • Fixed bug with audio dropout on 64bit devices
    • Fixed interface scaling on 12.9" iPads
    • Redesigned filters: eq10 -> eq9 with Q factor
    • Faster animations

    Have a nice day :)

  • @ashshaoshDaa Congrats on the new app. Fingers crossed on the bug fixes.

  • No more bugs in da house

Tank you, guys. With your support and help all this possible :)

  • Needed help with testing on 12.9" iPad
Some strange things we have and more testers with this type of device would be helpful.

I'd bought this app at launch and wanted to mess around with some noise, feedback, etc. Looked interesting, but kept killing all my audio, crashing, etc. Then, the developer removed it from the store in order to take it back to beta testing.

Since I didn't know how long it'd be gone, I went ahead and got a refund on it. But, I'm still intrigued.

I noticed yesterday that it's back in the app store and has been updated. Has anyone who was having similar problems with the initial launch like I've described, tried this new build out yet? Were all the biggest bugs fixed?

Would like to try this one again, but I doubt Apple would refund it a second time if the problems haven't been cleared up. It looks like some cool chaotic noise-fest fun to me, but I want to confirm it's now solid. Anyone?

It's been a couple years, but I got an app refund on something and then tried to rebuy later after an update, and apple wouldn't let me since I'd refunded it. Had to create an adhoc Apple ID

  • This thing is REALLY amazing.works perfect for me now!!
    Love it!!
    Thanks dev!!

Yeah, that's what I figured. I want to buy it again, but figured I'd see if others can at least confirm all of the launch bugs have been squashed in the most recent update. :)

    Thanks, flo26! :)

Hope there is no more serious bugs.
1.0.2 is waiting for review and must fix version label width :) :) :)

  • @ashshaoshDaa Hey, I decided to take a chance and buy this again... even though I've already refunded once and will not likely be able to refund again. Its MUCH better now.. still has a hair-trigger (sensitive) but manageable.

Two issues... 1. noticed the "Tab Size" dial doesn't do anything. It doesn't even let you select any of the 3 random buttons above it. Doesn't matter which preset I select, or randomization, or custom. It's like it's completely inactive. 2. The keyboard within the app doesn't appear to do anything. What is it supposed to do?

I'm getting some interesting results with this and glad I re-bought it. So far, it sounds like I get better or more controllable results with less complex input. But, complex stuff can be interesting too.

Got it! After I followed your instructions (referenced from the manual) and tried it out again... this weird gizmo app makes me smile. :)

    Cool :)

  • Glad you managed to fix the app back up. Went to buy it on my iPhone, damn! Any possibility of this app becoming universal in the near future?

No universal. But some parts of this app will became live as small apps for iPhones someday.

I will buy it when I get back to my iPad because it sounds amazing but it's a shame iPhone users don't get to play.

iPhone users will have some fun things to make noises too :)
Today I didn't see the way to fit whole SAF to iPhone.

  • Got this on a lark and had a blast with it last night. Really cool and complex in a good way.

  • Actual bump message:

Self-a-Fuzz now $4.99, maybe even forever, let's see after update ( that I don't even start to make ) - at first let's update Deregulator

And my site is now more useful and informative, i hope, so

  • I love this app! A bit of a steep learning curve, but man alive - if you want to absolutely mangle your sound, this is the app.

    Good evening

Self-a-Fuzz 1.0.4 update live in Appstore.
Only one new thing – Mutonic have default blending. Until this update you needed to have something selected in Settings, but now there is default one, very similar to “1”, but softer if we can say so after all.
You still need to feed some input into effect to hear it.
Soon I’ll post new video on YT with 1.0.4 to demonstrate Mutonic and table oscillator at work.
    Stay connected ;)

    :П:п

  • The first paragraph in the description from the App Store for this always reminds me of the film- 'crazy people'
