KORG Gadget Production: Post DubStep │ DRUMS - haQ attaQ 209

I am kicking of a new KORG Gadget production series and this time, I'm breaking down a Post DubStep style track. In part 1 we'll have a look at how I am shadowing my drums, using two instances, of the new Recife gadget.

If you are trying to make music with a sound reminiscent of artists like Synkro, Burial or Koreless to name a few, then this series might just be for you.

As always, quite useful and inspiring. The drum shadowing trick is pretty neat. Guess you only do this once you’re happy with your original drum track, right? Otherwise, you’d have to constantly copy-paste between the two.

  • Great tutorial, Jakob. Thanks a million!

  • My pleasure @Morgman73 I'm happy you found the video useful! :)

  • @Enkerli Spot on! I've tried doing it the other way around once or twice but I find it impossible to build a shadow for something that doesen't exist. :)
