A huge THANK YOU to the developer of MultiTrack DAW!

Hi all,

Since the next days and weeks are probably going to be very hectic with a lot of traffic here on the forum, I'd like to take the time to say THANK YOU to Hamilton, the developer of MultiTrack DAW. He's helped us immensely during the development of Audiobus 3.

If you're ever wondering about which app to get if you need a very reliable multi-track recorder for iOS that works on iPhone and iPad... MultiTrack DAW has you covered. It's also compatible to Audiobus 3, which means you will be able to launch it into the background, which is super useful, because it saves a lot of time when setting up your project.

If you already own it... adding a review will probably not hurt either. :)

Cheers,

Sebastian

  • I recommended MultiTrack DAW here just yesterday. Quality app. Thanks, Hamilton!

Thanks Hamilton for your hard work and for all your recent updates to MultiTrack Daw. This is the iOS daw I've used the most! Very much appreciated :)

  • MT DAW is essential for recording music on iOS. Period.

  • Does it have ableton link?

  • very true - still have it on my iPhone 3gs and every other IOS device I own.
Multitrack DAW is my favourite recorder for everything. B)
Btw it even saves the day to make the Audient ID22 monitoring an old Pro Tools and Creamware Scope system and lets me capture their output/single track solo with fx to IOS.

  • Also the mixer fx, while limited in number, are very very good

  • He's also big on Broadway.

  • And when they were looking at capital of Bermuda, they thought of Him.

  • Great app and I appreaciate the recent updates very much.

Impressed by your categorical statement. But if one has Cubasis and Auria Pro already — why is it essential?

  • because it's so simple and straight forward ;)

Which doesn't -to many of us- make it essential, but a nice addition.

  • My kind of app. 22mb of efficiency. My only daw and i dont feel the urge to splurge (shakes head) on any of the others.

  • Gutted that Link got dropped for it but exited for MTD2 and grateful for the quality and versatility of MTD itself.

Size of app. Simplicity. And I only have a 16GB iPhone currently (iPad2 died).
MT Daw is more like a MTR than a full daw like Cubasis/Auria.

This makes it essential for me because getting from 0 to 60 in this app is faster than Auria or Cubasis. When you're in musical idea mode, this is golden.
