I'm curious about the bluetooth audio. I read some 2 and 3 star reviews on 3.0 about how it wasn't working. I avoided buying a bluetooth speaker due to the latency issues. But I'm wondering how things have been working out lately and if it's worth buying a bluetooth speaker yet.
Latency will still be there, but for arranging it could be useful, so I hope it's better now. I was getting unwanted audio artifacts in my AirPods before. Haven't tested the update yet.
They officially need to fix those new loop start and end arrows. it's a total crapshoot if they're going to move when you want.
EDIT: you HAVE to keep your finger within the little blue bar when moving them, if it moves out, touch doesn't register leading to frustration. It's not like a knob where you can grab it and move your finger everywhere.
Just tested with my AirPods and the unwanted audio artifacts are gone![:+1: :+1:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/+1.png)
I think they are pretty easy to get right, but yes, he small blue band isn't very big, it would be nice as you say if it worked like the knobs so once you start dragging you can move outside the area.
Great... I admit I was wondering why I had artifacts when playing my test song on a speaker... I thought it was caused by a bad mix on my side lol
they also fixed that multi bar copy bug on the little cross in a circle icon.
Just tested with my Bluetooth receiver, audio works again with 3.0.1.
You do get latency. But for playback it's alright.
Yeah, I had latency crackles on one of the Lexington heavy tunes but now they seem to have gone. Won't get too excited before thorough testing.
Could the artefacts you guys are talking about be similar to latency crackles or was it something more subtle?
Just tried it on an iPhone 6+ and it seems to work flawlessly now. This is kind of an unexpected gift for me this morning as I rely on Bluetooth headphones alot. I will try it on my iPad later but I don't expect there to be any difference than what I found with the iPhone version. Cool!
Really? That's brilliant news.
So I think everything is working now?
Apart from @db909 's erase button![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Confirmed. The turbo battery discharger is performing beyond expectations.
Crazy the way the battery takes a dive.
Stop you're gonna make me cry
It's not new to version 3.0 unfortunately. Been experiencing the same CPU/battery usage before.
Plus a couple of reports from people of dissappearing audio files
i think they were before the update, fingers crossed the invisible Korgnomes stitched that hole in the breeches!? but it's certainly a factor that encourages the 'record yr audio synced in Aum and import' workflow.. you'll always have a backup copy of the audio. that way also allows you to incorporate some silence at the beginning of the file too. I've been recording a bit of the steelguitar app this way and because of my natural inability to hit the first bar on the first cycle i end up with a bar or more of silence anyways.. at first i was keen to crop it in audioshare.. but then i realized!! keep it for Gadgetsake!!
Yeah, it's always been a CPU hog for sure. Though the new update definitely seems to up the ante a little bit here. I was just messing about with it on the iPhone7 for a few minutes seeing what was new and my battery dropped 15%. I could see maybe getting only an hour max of use at that rate, though it would be a fun hour I'm sure![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
On my Air 1 it has skyrocketed since 3.0. So much so that i find myself using it less and less
