Is there an app that displays and holds peak meter value?
I know many people say just use your ear, but I myself like being able to see the highest peak value held for a master track. Is there an app that does this? Or maybe an Auria plug-in?

I'm not sure, but you could check it out AUFX:PeakQ
NoLimits by DDMF did the trick. Doesn't give you an infinite hold reading, but you can set the ceiling to achieve the same result more or less, and it's an AU. Icing on the cake.
Another good one: Limiter by Amazing Noises, and it's an AU too (kind of focusing on AUs at this point). In fact I probably like it the best, though it doesn't give you and sort of infinite hold either, it still does essentially what I'm looking for.
I wish Apple would designate an area in the store for AUs. Could be done rather easily with a simple tag system of some sort.
