New stuff in Echo Pad!
Echo Pad 1.4.8 is out, should be available worldwide within a few hours as the AppStore servers are updated.
Link: Echo Pad $3.99
There are lots of new user requested features in this update, including expanded multi-tap delay features and a new presets system including 60 factory presets. By combining the Stereo Delay and Multi-Taps 1+2, 3+4 you can have up to 6 delay taps! Additionally, in the expanded delay control panel you can now manually type in delay times for all taps, and the global BPM. BPM synced delays are now accessible from the delay control panel, and include buttons for note value delay times.
Here's two new videos, the first one is a sound demonstration of Echo Pad's new features and presets, with a little beat from Figure processed through Audiobus, and guitar starting around 3:00.
Thanks to everyone who sends in feature requests, I hope you enjoy the new stuff.
The videos seem to be having issues in Safari at the moment, so use the link if it won't play in the embedded player.
Echo Pad - In depth tutorial for expanded multi-tap features

Thank you @HoldernessMedia I almost feel guilty updating EchoPad. You've given so much. It is appreciated.
Woot! Thank you!
@mgmg4871 @syrupcore - You're welcome!
again already? WOW!
@eyeballjackson - Haha, I don't sleep son.
@Flo26 - Thanks!
Nice Apache riff
@dwarman - I'm working with a few guitarists I've been in contact with to get some solid presets for emulating the sound of the old Hank Marvin and The Shadows tunes using Echo Pad. There's one included already that I made called "Shadows" which sounds pretty good for playing songs like Apache, but after more people have their hands on the new multi-tap functions in Echo Pad I'll be able to include some more authentic presets.
Great Up-date !!!
Five-star review given. Thanks for the great update!
@PieterrVos @MrNezumi - Thanks guys![=) =)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
Amazing update !
@HoldernessMedia - I'll be looking forward to that. I grew up with the Shadow, also Buddy Holly, and IIRC his bass hit me in a similar manner as Hank's leads.
@dwarman - Cool. They're new to me but I'm loving their sound and they have great melodies.
Superb update. Thanks for the instructional video, too! Very informative.
@HoldernessMedia awesome update echopad keeps getting better and better. seriously dig the shadows preset not just for playing my guitar, but really loving it for running drums through it.
@Holdernessmedia I just watched your video on youtube about random presets but I cannot seem to find the '????' & '!@#?' options in the fx menu ?
What am I missing ?
Btw the app is pretty mental and great quality with an extremely varied set of results each time I play. Very good job would be an understatement![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Edit: iPhone 5 version...
@DaveMagoo On main screen top left FX button then at bottom
Awesome update...thanks!
Btw...is anybody else having trouble getting a youtube video to play via safari on the ipad? With each attempt I get the "This video is currently unavailable" message.
I had to view the forum through Chrome to watch these vids.
@Michael_R_Grant @protomike - Thanks! I'm glad you dig the Shadows preset, I was trying to get something close to the tone used on Apache.
@Dave Magoo - Thanks, and the buttons are in the FX menu as @JMSexton said.
@SpookyZoo - The videos won't play in the embedded player in Safari for me either on my iPad, but fine in other browsers. I just edited the post to include the links so that should work for people on Safari. I'll log into YouTube and see if there's a problem I can fix, or if its just something weird with Safari right now.
@HoldernessMedia, I did a check on a few other blogs and forums, and their imbedded youtube videos fail to load also...so it does look like a current Safari quirk.
Hi,
Please check my profile pic and see what i see ?
I still don't see the buttons ?
Am I missing the wood for the trees![:( :(](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
They are there on ipad 4 but not on iPhone 5 ?
Confirmed. Not on iPhone 4S either.
@DaveMagoo @syrupcore - I'm not at home at the moment but that looks like a bug.
As soon as I get back I'll look into it and let you know what's up.
@DaveMagoo @syrupcore - It's definitely a bug with 1.4.8 not displaying the randomize preset butons on iPhone/iPod Touch. I've now found a few bugs that weren't caught by me or my beta testers, and I'll take total responsibility for that. Sigh![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
I have an idea for a fix until I can get the next update out, could both of you PM or email me so I can try it with you to verify the fix will work before I post the fix online?
If you need another set of helping hands. I could also test the 4S for you.
You sir are the Don Gargon.
