Exceptional. A real mastery of your material there Doctor and completely unreasonable dextrocityness. There's a thread floating about concerning apps/iPads as instruments, in concert with the K you are proof of concept.

If anything it puts me off the whole thing. Standard too high. Bar out of reach etc. :)

  • Proper jam...killed it! That Shoom solo :o

wowz. Very very awesome. Great beat, thought it was coming from another app.. but you don't have any audio loops so can't be? Nice solo too, great to see it being used with other apps. Gives me lots of ideas, I need to hire an army of devs to get it all done ;)

  • Excellent track! I use KRFT similarly--if my hands aren't moving I feel like I'm doing it wrong (must be vestiges of guitar playing).

@Alex fox Note how he has to use AudioBus remote to start the second drum part? That's where a MIDI CC button would be handy. (Or at least AudioBus compatibility to allow for the AB sidebar in KRFT.)

Also see that the dials are a little fiddly for live use. They work--not complaining. Just that I find that I wrestle with them from time to time to get the response that I want.

Thanks for sharing the fantastic track, @AudioGus!

Yes makes sense. We'll be starting work on midi very soon. Also at some point we're thinking of deprecating dials and replacing them with XYZ pads which you could make any size you wish! All in good time.

Nice! I love that KRFT makes me an active musician again--playing the iPad like an instrument. Steve Jobs would be proud...

It's often one way we try to describe KRFT. Like playing an instrument but you're commanding a whole composition. B)

  • @AudioGus you are welcome. Very enjoyable composition for the listener and no doubt for the composer too :)

  • Thanks folks! KRFT is amazing. I think XY pads and midi would absolutely put this app over the top, It could really be everywhere!

One thing I found in making the video was that rewatching my failed/jumbled attempts a couple times helps a lot. I really encourage people to give it a try.

Really looking forward to getting to know this app more and where it is headed. :)

    very good!

  • Great jam, really showed some of the power of the KRFT app. Inspires me to get into it some more, as I've only tried it a few times.
