iDousyn Synth finally gets with IAA

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/idousyn/id421852860?mt=8

This is one I've been waiting on, best $4 Synth on the AppStore finally has IAA interconnectivity including midi, maybe dev is amenable to AB3 next.
The update making this workable (in Modstep for example) happened 3/15, I've been periodically checking since I bought this way way back...

I can't believe you're requiring me to detach more currency from the family estate, and on a Monday evening. Ah well...

Sorry 'bout that brother. It has 100 presets each for lead, bass, drums (including loops), pads, sfx, "instruments" (like agogo), piano, synth, strings, guitars, chords...
And a random button, (the iDousyn logo, upper right)

Before you spend, it's looking like a rompler...

  • Having had this for some years, I can say I'm that sill unimpressed. and it's 650Mb!

I looked up your file and it says here that I like your taste and so I'm happy to back that judgment :)

Worth it (to me) for the randomness (and the fact that you can save presets, amazing that you couldn't previously...). Recorded audio into Cubasis straight off the bat. Had more trouble (spending all of two minutes) getting it to record MIDI notes directly, but when I wrote them in it played back just fine.

@thinds Can def. see it might not tickle the fancy of some, but I also like that. Find I tend to make more interesting things out in my own leftfield but fully understand if others don't get turned on by the same. Actually, I think we all need a little bit of our own leftfield, but that's another whole story.

@Littlewoodg Have you got it running anything like SPA or Xynth?

Have to say it's patch adjustment tools are really very good.

    Thank you Mister Wood.

  • how are the sounds in this, I don't care that it's 99 cents , are the sounds good quality.... only finding this one video??

I like it. Can make and save many variations easily. Def. one of those that I can imagine Mister Yorke enjoying.

  • done deal.... thanks JG

Grabbed. I really needed to add a cow moo to my track...

Actually, this is worth it for the drum samples alone I think.

  • So I’ve had this app for a long while now and even paid for the full unlock a long time ago. It recently had an update and now despite having paid for the full version (which was like $3.99) it’s now displaying a ton of ads and the developer implemented a ton of trackers. The in app ads instantly knew my old address. Not cool. And according to the App Store page the unlock is now $19.99.

Not worth it for an only slightly decent sounding GM app that’s only IAA. Just venting here lol

  • Charging for a pro unlock for an app only to turn around and out ads on it anyway is like a slap in the face.
