    I'm gonna check these out -- as an owner of both Volca Sample and Volca FM, these look potentially very useful to me. AB3 is looking to be quite the game-changer. Now I gotta make some time to really explore the new possibilities!

    Hi, hope to have some videos about these apps up soon. If you use AB3, own a Volca FM or Sample, and sequence your Volcas from your iPad like I do, this makes using the two boxes a lot easier. Pretty niche apps but solved a problem I personally had and gave me a chance to experiment with AB3 MIDI filters. Let me know if you have any problems.

    Cool! Given the low price, I will definitely check them out (I have little hardware, but own all the Volcas). Not totally clear what these do at first, but it looks similar to what the Retrokits RK-002 cable does for both the FM and the Sample. But that's a one-at-a-time cable and it needs MIDI power to work - this would be a nice alternative.

    This works splendidly. and i'm so happy that i can pretty much get a perfectly clean recording from my sample too :D

    Can we get more info? Do we absolutely need AB 3 to make these apps run ?
    If we want to use them with an external midi keyboard, I suppose you might need also a midi hub that connects volca, ipad and keyboard together ?
    If we want to use them Straight from the IPad, with no external midi keyboard, which apps include a velocity sensitive keyboard? Also, will AB3 needed in that case?

    There's a standalone app. It can filter midi from non fully Ab3 supported apps like modstep, Auria, etc to the volca. Both coremidi apps and external midi via USB or midi interfaces work. Regarding velocity with touch I have no clue. And no. Ab3 is not required.
