Poison-202 - "Essentials" Soundpack - Demo

Hello my friends!

This is a Demo of the sounds included with the "Essentials" Soundpack I've created for Poison-202.

This Soundpack is available for all Poison-202 users on the new VST/AU version for Mac and will be released soon for iOS.

Big thanks to Jim Pavloff for including my sounds among the Factory Presets of this amazing synth! :)

  • I've just realized that I can now sell my hardware Roland synths! Does anyone want to buy a Roland JP-800 and a Roland JV-1010? I'm all set with just my phone!!

  • Nooooo don't sell an actual jp-8000/jd-800 :o

Bit short on cash. but would you be willing to give them both to me for 100$ ? Pretty sure the answer is no but a guy can dream right ?

  • My hardware is not going anywhere. I have a nice JV-1080 that doesn't get used. But it's nice to look at sitting on my desk under a TX81Z. :)

  • Thank you all for the comments! :)

Poison-202 is one of the best synths on iOS, no doubt. It's flexible and sounds very good. The original Factory Presets are focused on modern music and they sound absolutely brilliant! But there are not many original patches showing the "vintage" or "classic" capabilities of its engine. So, as an old soul, I've decided to create some of those lovely sounds from the past and the result is this collection. Of course, a few modern sounds are also included, as well as some acoustic emulations via subtractive synthesis, which I always love to program on old analog gear (check my "Basics & Classics" collection for Moog Model 15 if you use that app as well). I plan to do some more soundsets for other apps, so suggestions are welcome ;)

Agree on your analysis of the Poison presets. Thanks for your efforts to round things out! Much appreciated!

Considering those Prodigy albums are now 25 years old, that's hardly modern anymore ;)

    (Agreed on the brilliant part)

Yeah, that is a bit low on the price side. To be honest, I have to admit that I wasn't thinking when I posted that. It's not a JP-800, it's a JX-8P. Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking there...

    It's this one:
