Drum Pads
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any opinions/experiance on which is best and why, I guess I'd prefer something thats quite sensitive, pads wise.
AKAI MPD218 - http://www.akaipro.com/product/mpd218
or
iRig Pads http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigpads/
I have a CCK already so having a lightning port isn't essential , any other contenders in the sub £100 category I should consider?
Thanks,
Stu

Some good coverage here, and he favors the Akai. Check his comments (Andreas) at the bottom.

Thanks @telecharge it's an interesting read !
Just spotted this one http://www.akaipro.com/product/lpd8-wireless#overview , quite tempted but just put off that it has 8 pads rather than 16 , bluetooth is a big plus though.
Does anyone know if the pads on the LPD8 are the same size and spec as the ones on MPD218 ?
Thanks.
