  • Curious, might try this later this morning.

  • Looks kind of cool, will look at this after my current iOS backup/updatathon.

    'Kin iTunes ...

  • Did a back updateathon just today and gained back 2 gigs in fact. Very happy camper here.

Also trimming my library, so much dead wood ...

For Jamfactory, is the initial email/password screen a registration screen? I can't get past it, it just says connection issues ... server trouble?

  • This app is a TOTAL DUD! Will not launch at all in AB or stand alone because of an error code at start up. Oh well it was free and now deleted . Perhaps it will get fixed one day soon.

I'm half worried it's just collecting email addresses and passwords ...

It does appear so, I would warn others to stay away until this gets sorted out.

  • I wonder who got my info?

So I got to the website (via iTunes link) to sign up and it appears to be a subscription service ...

    Nope.

Is it a danish dev ? Pity we can't test before payment and subscription (copyright songs ?) ! Velkommen Prinsesse :)

  • Not gonna go there. It is bad enough that this is indeed a subscription service, but the fact that they attempted to omit this prior to download is totally underhanded and unacceptable! How about a return favor of banning their advertising or mention here further. Scumbags is to lite of a term for these lowlifes!

I suspect it's been launched to a narrower audience (native dev country?) with more background on what this service is.

Nobody chucks an app out without details on how to register, surely.

It did look too good to be true and it turns out this is true.

On the upside I've just completed the upgrade and freed up 1.7Gb.

Apple gets a cut of subscription services if they're done through the App Store so some some subscription services decide to establish subscription sign ups outside of the App Store so they don't have to pay Apple.
