Whatever happened to MidiBridge and FreEWI by Audeonic?

Are people still using these apps or is everyone in the midiflow camp here?
I wonder if these apps will ever be updated again. The company doesn't seem to be out of business. Does anyone know anything?

  • Don't know about frewi but MidiBridge won't get any further updates according to the dev apparently because to do so would break its ability to keep connections to the Akai synth station 25 and original midi mobilizer (both need to be 32 bit) since I have both of those that suits me fine.
In the mean time MidiBridge continues to work fine for me.

  • Which makes me wonder if they would make a new 64 bit app.
Or: MidiBridge for AUM 2, a new suite of MIDI filters and effects that go in AUM 2's MIDI pipe lines in multiple instances? You're welcome @audeonic and @j_liljedahl

  • I visited his site lately and he is working on a new midi bridge thing and says what @BiancaNeve wrote above ^^^^about the connections...
