iPhone/Universal Synths/Romplers/DAWs?

I searched high, and I searched low, but it seems near impossible to find the information I need regarding iPhone synths (let alone any DAWs). Strange enough, I found plenty of information on universal all-in-one environments with stem export. SO, this is what I know so far.

All-in-ones:
-Gadget
-Beathawk
-Garageband
-Xewton Music Studio
-Figure
-Caustic
-iMaschine 2

Synths/Romplers:
-Sensual Sax
-Thumbjam
-Troublemaker
-Sampletank

DAWs:
-FL Studio Mobile (has much better mixing capabilities than Music Studio)
-Multitrack DAW (but this is audio only)

Of course there are AB 2 and 3, AUM, Denoise, Audioshare, Audiocopy, and Tonebridge as well.

So, to reiterate, do you know what other iPhone synths/romplers/DAWs exist? Thank you in advance for your help.

Comments

  • Korg has Odyssei, iWavestation, Module...and probably more running on iPhone

  • Roland sound canvas as rompler

  • VoxSyn, ReSlice, iVCS3, Animoog, SunVox, MitoSynth, Different Drummer, Blocswave, Launchpad. That should keep you busy for a little while.

Some items here overlap with above lists, and my CMP stuff (Grande Piano, Symphonic etc) and Korg modules are missing...for space.

There are a few more that I don't have installed.

    See below

  • In before Ian...

    What about SunVox?

    BeatMaker 2
    Model 15
    Audulus 3
    TF8
    BeBot

    Oldies but goodies:
    Looptical
    Rhythm Studio
    NLog MIDI Synth

    iMPC for iPhone?

  • Doesn't Audio Evolution Mobile DAW run on an iPhone?

  • All of Bram Bos apps are universal.

  • Thanks @Littlewoodg ! Now i'm feeling less of a degenerate B)

    A service I'm happy to provide... >:)
And as I mentioned, there's more, there's the 3 pages of drum and groove boxes, and 9 pages of DAW, (with fx and utilities) and who knows how many not installed at the moment.

  • Well I've limited myself to synths and drummachines, and Gadget, so i can manage. When you're running your whole production on iOS, than it becomes excessive and weird...Last thing i bought was LayR, what a steaming pile of...cured me for a few weeks now.

If you're going to include Figure, you need to also include iKaossilator, for it has 5 tracks and more sequencing capabilities and very easy to make whole songs. No automation fun though. Also triq traq. Auxy, the universal version, is also a great all in one if you just wanna go all out with modern synth sounds and is also built more with iPhone in mind

  • Might as well add Oscilab and Yamaha's Mobile Music Sequencer to the mix.

I'm excessive and weird in any setting and configuration...

  • You all have been such a great help to me, so a huge "thank you". Hopefully my SIM card arrives in the mail today so I can finally activate my iPhone and ditch the Droid. Cheers. ;)

I just noticed this post. 9 pages of DAWs?! That sounds more like an iPad thing than an iPhone thing. I'm curious if you can clear this up. Thanks. :)

"9 pages of DAW (with fx and utilities)". Mostly fx, but I keep the fx and utilities in the same folder. DAWs include Multitrack DAW, N-Track studio, BM2, Nanostudio, the 2 TNRs, infinite looper, Traktor, Rotor...but as I said it's including (pages of) fx...

BM2. Has audio tracks and loads User samples...
Even though it's outgoing (BM3 coming in the 2nd quarter of the year, reportedly, and the iPhone version to follow) and it's got some idiosyncrasies, there's no competition on iPhone. Arguments for Gadget can be made, but BM2 handles audio tracking like a DAW.

Ahhhhh, shoot I totally missed that part mate. I saw your instruments collection via screenshots. You wouldn't mind doing the same for this other aforementioned folder full of DAWs, effects, etc? :)

The 9 screen shots would be excessive:
SunVox, FLSM, Multitrack DAW, KRFT, AudioShare, PixiTracker, AUM, BM2, TNR-E, TNR-1, Nanostudio, Infinite Looper, LP-5, midiLFOs, Dropbox, Twisted Wave, IL Remote, Zero Chorus, AudioReverb, AD 480 Pro, Audio Effects, AUFX Space, AUFX Dub, AUFX PeakQ, AUFX Push, Stereo Designer, Crystalline, Caramel, GliderVerb, musicIO, DubFilter, Dedalus, Filtatron, Remaster, Mobile Convolution, AltiSpace, apeFilter, GrainProc, Squashit, Deregulator, Echopad, Airbender DSP, zMors EQ, M/S Proc, Harmony Voice, Frobulator, Brute LFO, Emo Chorus, Tap Delay, Johnny, WretchUp, midiSequencer, Muckraker, nils, AB Remote, AB2, AB3, Nebulizer, Frekvens, Zero Reverb, F-16 Filter, DC-9 Overdrive, Resampler, Neve EQ, DJ Player Pro, Hook, Traktor DJ, DDMF Envelope, Sparkle, Haaze, BeatTwirl, apeDelay, Saffron Saturator, Tiger Lily Tremolo, Dahlia Delay, Phlox Phasor, Buttercup Bitcrush, Frum, ROTOR, Little Midi Machine. Excessive even in list form...

As you see most of the stuff is FX...DAW type stuff like Gadget, N-Track, Music Studio, and a few others aren't installed currently.

  • @Littlewoodg Awesome! :) Thank you for the help mate.
