  • Absolutely, i'd keep my eyes on these logs. IDAM works perfectly atm for me, too good a feature not to have. I'd keep my eyes on the logs, and think about that reinstall... :o

  • Im having the same issue. After enabling, it just disappears. Yesterday, I wasted over an hour trying everything I can think of, with no luck (Ipad Air 1). It works perfectly with my IPhone 6s though. I just assumed that maybe my Air 1 is becoming old news and need to upgrade.

it's an ipad air one also that I have. However the iphone is a 5s. Not sure it has anything to do with being old has it's the latest ios.

  • Reads to me as if the connection is severed because something else is 'hogging' it. Photo import, tethering, and QuickTime screen capture will auto-disconnect the connection. it's a 2 channel 24 bit 48khz isochronous USB 2.0 (Audio) connection - so bandwidth is reserved for the isochronous pipe, and it won't make any difference what is otherwise running, syncing, or moving data between the 2 (or more) devices. It works on all iPhones, and all iPads with a lightning connector, excepting the 1st iPad Mini, and requires El Capitan and iOS 9. It works with powered Hubs, and you can aggregate those to multi input/output if you want.

like I said in the 1st message. This worked fine all the time in El Capitan and as soon as I updated to Sierra, this stopped working. Simple. I don't know why but I'm guessing I'm not the only with this problem. Thanks anyway, I'll keep whatever people have suggested in mind.

  • I've been having the same issue, my (2) iPad Air devices won't work but my iPhone 6s and iPad Pro work.
