I-pad Video recording ?

edited September 2013 in General App Discussion

Can someone explain why i-pads video recorder cannot listen to and record the Audiobus feed? Why can't the output be sent to the I-pad video camera while the camera is recording?

When My internal i-pad video camera is on and recording I can monitor the left and right, why can't the video camera do this.

During play back of the video It seems only the raw microphone left and right feed was recorded by the video camera; Which is entering via I-rig mixer into i-pad headphone input.

I am monitoring sound via I-rig head phone output.

What is happening with the audio recording in the camera that it cannot pick up a left and right feed. I seems that since video is being recorded there is lots of memory available for quality recording.

Thanks for any input (N.P.I) you may have.
