I think it doesn’t play the whole sample once you trigger a new one the old one stops.
And the samples/slices continue when i release the trigger (midi keyboard)?
That‘d kill this for me:/
You sure? I cant imagine it. It would completely make it unusable for melodic work / playing a sample based instrument.
And the samples/slices continue when i release the trigger (midi keyboard)?
no, i've just checked
its got an adr envelope for each slice, so set the release to zero and the play back stops.
if thats what you mean
I may start to sound silly but NO = no it wont continue when midi key note is lifted?
So it does what i want, slice an analog instrument recording of 32 notes into 32 keys playable on midi keyboard like a sampler all in AU -> AUM !?
Say yes please
Its almost all i need, dont want non AU able bm3 fully loaded daw stuff
Oh and is there a polyphony limit. Like 8 note poly works fine?
Oh and got it about the release. Thanks man
Edit: one last question for now about the live sampling.
Does it have a pause mode in order to stack a few different sounds after each other to build a multi sample slice? Or only one go REC?
@hththt

don't think there is a poly limit. it's not in settings as far as i can see.
i don't know about the record mode tho. sorry. never used that feature
