which beat creating app supports layering sounds?

looking for a beat creation app that supports layering samples (on ONE pad/note). something like iSpark with XOX sequencing and easy sample import ( without iTunes!!! ).

    ISpark is the only usable way that I've found at the moment, it will import from AudioShare and Audiocopy, but iTunes is the easiest way to get a folder structure over..
    Beatmaker 3 promises to do what you need, it should be out in the next month or two.

    You could also just set up different drum racks with the same notes in modstep.

    Strokemachine (and Attack) can load two samples for an instrument, loading multiple samples (and synthetic voices) is pretty much unlimited in S_nV_x, with resampling as well

    For Beathawk, layer your samples ahead of time and adjust the octaves and semitones to taste, lay down one long note (something around 5-10 seconds long unless a sound is shorter), copy that to the other pads, bounce it, edit it in Hokusai Pro and import it back into Beathawk (optional), clear the pads, load the freshly bounced layered sound into a pad, and turn on time stretching (optional).

    There's also Beatmaker 3, but if you wait around for the "next biggest thing", you'll become old and grey by the time you get anything done.

    you'd be hard pressed to run out of pads in BM2.
