Heh, that's pretty funny, considering I had already decided to ban KORG from my wallet during the original sale period. Maybe they didn't get the sales numbers they were hoping for. Well my vote may just be a drop in the bucket, but I'll state why, if KORG care to come here and listen. First off iDS-10 no Link, no fun
They've promised this. Though they promised audio in Gadget so long ago people had probably wrote that one off too. Second, the process of getting Gadget iPad and iPhone talking so I could get Darwin on iPhone was so horrible and the wait for it to 'transfer' so long that I frankly can't believe they shipped that turd. Unprofessional. What's worse, no user presets are copied, so it's just the basic rompler (granted it's a huge library with the IAPs). I mean WTF! I want iM1 on iPhone! If iWAVESTATION can be crammed in there, surely iM1 can!
For the record, I already bought:
Gadget (Abu Dhabi, Bilbao, Kamata)
iDS-10 (PLUS Mode)
iKaossilator
iM1 (M1, T1)
Module
What I would have bought if not bitter about Darwin iPhone:
ARP ODYSSEi
Gladstone and Madrid
Ivory Mobile Grand
iWAVESTATION
So I'm a bit invested, but I won't be swayed by sunk cost fallacy. I'll use what I have for what it's worth. Perhaps at the level they count beans my resistance is futile, but I'll stand my ground. Just my two cents, but if they want one red cent more I'll have my iM1 iPhone and iDS-10 Link.
Besides, with all the other stuff going on in the iOS audio space right now I don't really need more Gadget stuff.

Oh man. I'm really trying to not step into the Korg stack because I know my OCD will need to get them all and I can't justify the spend right now. Must keep telling myself that I should see what I can do in Caustic as a sketch pad and really get to know the menagerie of synths, beats and effects that this forum has already turned me on to...
No, no, you have to catch them all (apart from Kamata).
Oh you're not helping... what's wrong with Kamata then?
By the way, me calling Caustic a sketch pad is out of order. It's incredible. Korg will come in time...
Each separate app and within the main Gadget app is riddled with inconsistencies, redundant features, and "clunky" workflows which cause me to speculate that Korg is heavily compartmentalised. M1 versus Wavestation is a perfect example. Why is there a search function with Darwin but not Milipitas. What's up with the chord button on Marciell when nearly every gadget has chord "functionality."
The Nanokey Studio has huge problems as well. 8 pads instead of 16 and no octave control. Pads do what smaller trigger buttons ought to have done which is to set scales or arpeggios. Then there's scene mode which theoretically should allow switching midi channels but it has to be configured through some outdated windows app.
One can only pray they get their shifts together.
And......... KAMATA!!!!
It's such a cool gadget. Even Jakob digs it. ![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I like Kamata.
I'm going to throw in a wild guess that this is correlated to the sales (or lack thereof) of macOS Gadget. I think it's safe to say that a 100% of macOS Gadget users are iOS Gadget users, so they have to broaden that potential customer base...
I'd love to have it. But i can't justify to myself, to shell out 200 bucks. It would look and feel so sweet on my 40" 4k screen..but 200 bucks is just way too much, let alone 299. 99 would have been an appropriate price point.
I gave them 20 Euro for Gadget. It can sound so good, so huge.
My plan: No additional Cent.
I think you don't like it because you never use it. Kamata is a great gadget. Here my example of how to use it, and IMHO it sounds very interesting!
