A bit new to this MIDI clock game.. Please help.
Ok, I had drumjam as input, loopy as output.
I tinkered w/ settings and managed the following. This is EXACTLY what I wanted:
- When in Drumjam, hitting the record button on Audiobus tab would count in, turn red and record 4 bars, then go green.
- tempo's synced.
- Hitting the Play button on Loopy would NOT start Drumjam playing.
Now, for the life of me, I can't recreate those settings.
Can anyone help me get back there?
Thanks in advance.

If everything is loaded go to settings , midi settings and look for loopy and select it in the relevant clock bit
Thanks, but that raised more questions than it answered!
I was looking for something a little more detailed. Like:
1) In Loopy, have everything disabled EXCEPT '__'.
2) In Drumjam, only '___' should be enabled".
That kind of thing.
I assume you've checked out the detailed info I posted here: http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/183/drumjam-midi-clock-in-to-manage-loopys-timing#Item_6
What you want is similar, except that you want Loopy's Track Management settings to include Count-Out to be ON, and perhaps a count-in quantize of a bar (optional). Set the preset length to 4 by swiping the loopy timebar thing until you get to the page with the multiply and divide symbols, and make that number 4.
Then in DrumJam hit Play to get things rolling, let it go for about a bar or 2 to let things settle in, then hit the record button for loopy in the sidebar, it will start recording at the next bar boundary. It will record 4 bars and then be done just like you described.
That much I got. It's this part:
How did I lose that? Or did I imagine it?
If DrumJam is the clock master, hitting play on Loopy should not start DrumJam. Be sure that Loopy is not sending any clock, nor is drumjam recv'ing clock from Loopy.
