Any iPhone users using GarageBand and gadget?
I'm getting an iPhone 7 tomorrow and would like to know how GarageBand and gadget are on iPhone...is it good or fiddly lol
Comments
i use GB all the time on my iphone6s and it works very well. I've read posts from a few others on this very forum who like and use Gadget on their iphones - personally I've never installed it on my phone cause I think it'd be too fiddly/small for me (plus I have enough apps on my phone already)
Do you use other apps with GB or paste stuff into it?
I often cut & paste loops made in other apps into GB. I have used GeoShred in GB on my phone - and the odd other app here and there - but most of the time I just use GB's internal instruments
Cool! Can u share a track?
sure - here's a couple:

Very nice!
Yes to Gadget on the 7. I use it on my 7+ when I'm away from my iPad. It's great on both for sure!
I use Gadget on my 6s+
I hate GarageBand on the iPhone (maybe I got used to the iPad UI but still... i do think some weird changes were made to the iphone version UI in order to fit everything into a small screen), never use gadget on the phone.
Ahh..Bristol manor is you?? I like your stuff
Are u from Bristol btw

no not from Bristol...
Love Gadget on my 6 Plus.
GarageBand is good too, though I ditched some time ago for the likes of Beatmaker 2 and Nano Studio...
Gadget is definitely useable, but it can be fiddly compared to Garageband I think. But then again, I'm not afraid to fire up Model15 on the iPhone too, which can be even more fiddly.
I use Garageband a lot more since I got an iPhone. I used to mainly use Cubasis and Gadget for recording, but the ability to work on a project on the ipad and then open it on the iPhone, them open it on the ipad make it so much easier to capture ideas and work on them anywhere without having to carry the ipad everywhere.
And now Gadget had audio, I really like both Gadget and Garageband on iphone+ipad.
Blocs wave is also good for capturing ideas and then importing into Gadget on the phone.
