Ummm... wasn't it Star Wars day?
And why would I let your link open Terminal?
Haha, trying to invoke nerd rage...
The dark side!? I wouldnt try it myself. The days of fun internet links are dead to me.
I can only speculate its an ascii version of one of the films. I know they made versions with lego (the meth lab of breaking bad was also fun). Seems logical, captain.
It is - its the ASCII one.
Never could get into Star Trek. Star Wars was where it was at for me.
Trek is 10x the actual sci-fi, conceptually, that SW is. But I'm strictly a TOS guy. Kirk / Spock / McCoy.
Back in the early 80s my nerd friends and I liked it all. I saw a double feature of The Wrath of Khan and the original Star Wars in 1982 (in 70mm!). Everyone had a great time.
Besides, a true Star Wars fan should know that May 25th (its original release date in 1977) should be the true "Star Wars Day."
Today is Revenge of the Fifth
I always felt that Lucas' other stuff was so much better: American Graffiti, THX 1138.
I prefered him as an Indy film maker.
Doubleplus this
I didn't really like THX. Not a lot going on. Although, that pace reminded me a bit of Westworld, and Silent Running, and the aesthetics reminded me a bit of Logan's Run.
Silent Running! That's the one I was trying to recall, Kubricks fx guy got to make one... R2D2 owes something to Huey Dewey and Louie. science fiction like that - the more grown up stuff - spoiled me for the big space operas
