My new original song/video, "Chorando"!

  • Have you ever heard a samba with a waltz feel? Let's satisfy your curiosity!

This is my original song "Chorando" ("crying" in Portuguese), a samba with a 3/4 time signature - which is typical of the waltzes - instead of the usual samba/bossa 2/4. I used only one camera, my iPad's, to shoot the video, and played guitar, bass, classical guitar and Brazilian cavaquinho, and also synthesizers and my Boss DR-5 for the beats, but these you won't see in the video, because I didn't filmed the performance when I was recording with them.

You can also download the song from my site (http://www.dimitridealencar.com), and it will cost only $0.99!

  • I hope you're not offended by this, Dimitri, but have you considered keeping your songs/videos together in one thread? You could just edit the title and the OP as you put new stuff out and move the previous entry down to a comment. That way all your creations are together in one place. Makes more sense to me than individual threads since you seem to be turning out 1 or more a week.

  • Oh, but I'd have all the thread maintenance work, which would spoil the fun! Thank you for the suggestion, though, mr. @telecharge. And, of course, no offense taken! :)

  • I'm not suggesting you restrict your creations to just one thread. Of course, start another if gets to be too much. Maybe an album or two worth of material per thread?

  • Of course you're not! But - at least for now - I prefer not to housekeep threads. Something to think about in the future, if I keep this composition pace. Again, thank you for the suggestion, @telecharge. Even though I won't follow it in the short time, it was much appreciated! :)
