Korg Gadget double midi notes
Every time I've tried to record midi notes into Gadget from elsewhere, no matter where, it always records double notes on top of each other. This has happened in every version of Gadget. Is there some way of preventing this or some option I should be looking for in the sending apps to make sure this doesn't happen? Or is it just another bug left unfixed?

Doesn't ever happen to me. Is looping enabled in Gadget? Maybe it's looping around and overlaying the notes on a second pass.
I would also change the midi-in settings in gadget to only listen on the port and channel you're sending on. If you have it set to the default of All/All you could getting from dual sources (ex. Network Midi + direct).
@wim no looping, I'll check the channel stuff. I just usually have it on easy midi mode

What about the source of your midi, is that set only to send on the specific ports and channel you're using in Gadget?
Welp doing advanced midi and choosing a specific channel works to receive is working. I guess specificity is required with Gadget.
Not just with Gadget. With any midi app, the more specific you can be the better. Receiving on All ports reduces the number of people tripping over getting MIDI working, but can result in stuff like that ... and even worse, loops. Best to be as specific as possible.
