route live audio from apps such as Amazon Music
Is it possible to route audio from apps such as Amazon Music with Audiobus? I'm mainly interested in applying various effects for experimentation. The audio input option appears to be for the microphone, which produces feedback with the system audio output selected.

Amplifind has audiobus and does paying spotify accounts, YT i think, and something else. Are you new with audiobus? Cause if you have the mic selected as the input and the system audio out selected as the output, then yeah, you will create a feedback loop as expected. It's the same as any other device with a mic and speaker (PC, hardware, ect).
Simply plug in headphones to avoid that. Or, select an app as the input.
no, but if you have a mac you can use the AMS to route ios system audio to the mac, or if you have studiomux you can route mac system audio to the ios device.
Would AUM facilitate routing audio from any app such as Amazon Music or Pandora?
Only if the app is an AU or is an IAA source, and music playing apps don't generally have this due to copyright issues.
