Link VS IAA sync questions and Future Drummer

Up until now, I've been syncing everything with Link using AB2 or AB3. In order to alleviate CPU, I've decided to migrate to AUM instead. Intead of multi-tracking into Auria, I've decided to record in AUM and import into Auria later on with nothing else running for mixing.. I have questions.

  1. From things I've read in other threads, such as the Future Drummer (which i plan to get), it seems it can be problematic to have IAA and Link happening simultaneously, or that it shouldn't. I seek understanding.

Cause right now part of my current setup is Infinite Looper triggering troublemaker, Isem, nave, thor. Also MIDI LFO. Obviously i will want infinite looper Synced with aum so that my recordings are tight. Same with MIDI LFO. I disabled link in both infinite and aum. I'm hosting infinite as an IAA in AUM, but they don't sync. But everything sync fine with Links enabled. But theoretically won't this make Future Dummer not sync, or is that a Cubasis issue?
