Blocs Wave soundpack samples - artifacts?

Blocs Wave is an interesting app however I always feel a bit disappointed with the samples in the soundpacks. To my ears they sound full of artifacts with a 'tremolo-y' warp. Especially evident on the higher melodic samples.

Is this just me?

For me they sound like a sample that is in the process of being stretched before settling, but never get settled.

Are the samples originally pitched in C or A? Should I be flattening or something to have the sample 'fixed'.

Will be very happy to hear it's all my fault and directed on how to fix it. :)

    Maybe your ears are younger and better than mine, but I've made extensive use of BW and Launchpad packs in BW without issue. So could be something else happening to spoil your work? Good luck.

    @SpookyZoo I have been using BW alot more recently. I have not noticed any artifacts @Zen210507 I'm 30 years old; not sure if my ears are still young :'( lol

    I get that artifact stuff as well. Usually when I switch to a new sound it does it thru the loop and then seems to go away, or if I change keys and or tempo it also sounds warbly for a few.

    Thanks for your replies. Perhaps a de and reinstall might fix things. I love novation gear and apps so I'm really hoping this works out for me eventually. :)
