Anybody here using one of the Microkey Airs?
I have a Korg Microkey (v 1), that I bought many years ago, and I have used it a ton, it has the best feel out of all the mini keyboards in my opinion, but it's a hassle to use it with my iPads, because of the extra things needed, like a powered hub.
I am either going to be getting a Microkey 2 or a Microkey Air, which is the same as the Microkey 2, but with added bluetooth connectivity I believe.
Is there anybody here who uses a Microkey Air? Is the additional latency workable? Has the latency been documented? Are we talking about 5 ms or 25 ms? 25 ms for example would be totally unusable in my opinion, and a waste of time for my needs.
Basically, I'm just trying to decide if I should just get a Microkey 2, or if I should shell out the extra cash to get a Microkey Air, if it is truly worth it.

I have the Microkey Air and the latency is very very low and it's one of my favourite music purchases ever. I don't have the numbers for it but I can play acoustic piano perfectly fine with it. Highly recommended!
That sounds good, and that's just what I wanted to hear.
The Microkey Air 49, which is the one I want, is $40 more than the Microkey 2 49, so I'll go for the Microkey Air 49 then. Thanks.
I just got a Microkey 2 Air 37, and the thing is a joy to use. No latency that I can discern, straightforward connection, works with all apps so far. Highly recommended.
Hi @crazysynthman! I too was reticent to pull the trigger on the microkey air. I figured USB as a fallback wasn't too bad, however I really wanted solid, low latency wireless performance.
I have the 61 key model, I got it for $130 slightly used.
Even though the few user reviews I read talked about how it's a 'miracle device,' I remain shocked at how well it performs.
I can walk 20 feet away from my iPad and it seems like there is no interference. I'm considering adding a strap to make it into a keytar!
I'd say go for it, with no reservations.

Great replies! It seems like everybody here who has one likes it a lot.
I'll be ordering mine soon, the Microkey Air 49, which I plan on bringing with me this summer when I go on vacation, and which should fit ok into my suitcase.
