Weird, I was only watching this the other day, yes it's great.
Also led me down the pleasant rabbit hole of his other stuff on YouTube.
Brilliant. He beautifully relays the at root simplicity of Western Music while simultaneously demonstrating the incredible sophistication that those 12 notes can evolve into.
I was never any good at high level math and actually loathed studying it but when I finally realized around the 9th grade just how mathematical the laws of music were I gained a whole new appreciation for it. It's so cool how it all fits together.
That's from about 11 hours of lectures. I fully recommend listening to all of it.. it's all this good!
