iDensity problem in AUM?
Has anyone else noticed the following problem using iDensity and IAA in AUM lately? I submitted a possible bug report to apeSoft but I realise that it could actually be a problem with AUM... or with me ;-)
Since the last update, if I load iDensity into an AUM channel via IAA, the AUM channel level fader does not work to attenuate the iDensity output; this behaviour also happens if I launch the app in the background and then load it into AUM. The same thing happens on my iPad Mini iOS 9.3.5 and on my iPod Touch 6 iOS 9.3.4 and also after an update to iOS 10.3.1. Is it a bug or have I messed something up in the app settings?

i use idensity with aum all the time and have never seen this issue, ipad air 2 with latest ios.
If you're using iDensity as a source and the fader in AUM does not affect the level, then the signal is not going that way. In other words: the sound from iDensity is not reaching AUM at all but instead going directly to the speaker as if run stand-alone. Unless you split the signal before the fader with a bus send, then of course the sound can take another route inside AUM and bypass your channel fader.
If you're using iDensity as an effect node, check the pre/post fader position. (long-press the fx node)
Thanks for the suggestions. I only ever use iDensity as an IAA effect and the behaviour is the same for both pre and post fader positions ie.AUM's channel level fader currently has no effect on iDensity's output. It may be coincidence, but I seem to remember first noticing this around the time of the last iDensity update; I never had a problem with it before. I did receive a reply from Alessandro at apeSoft who hasn't yet established if it is actually a bug, but he did say this; "I will make some tests, actually the iDensity multichannel can cause some issue".
