How do i do this? Is it even possible?

Let's say i'm making the next KatyGagaJustinUsherRihanna hit. Naturally, lacking creativity, i go with the same chord progression most pop hits use

So i start in C major and i want buttons to transpose my phrases from C to G Am and F

The problem is that using buttons to shift the pitch will do so chromatically which means Am becomes A and my budding career as a hit maker becomes nothing but a dream

Seriously though, what am i missing? My music theory knowledge is very basic so maybe this is doable and i just don't know how

In the middle of a song?

What i want to do is to make a phrase with say a C major chord. Then have morph buttons transpose that chord within the C major scale. So far i can't find a way to do it

Oh yeah I thought you meant in general. That's not possible yet. But you could work around it by setting up different loops with the chords you want and activating them when necessary.

Good point. I guess i was just stuck in the transposing mentality but doing major and minor versions of phrases should do the trick

I built an engine that uses Midiflow to route all. All ins and outs go to midiflow. Then, I use ChordPolyPad to send scales in different keys to StepPolyArp, which can access notes as abstract numbers 1-7. Then I build patterns in SPA with abstract note numbers, like 123, or 246. Then, I assign 3 or 4 rows of SPA to one instrument. So chords can play from the numbers. Then, I drive the whole thing with BeatMaker as a controller sending midi to ChordPolyPad which in turn is sending scales to StepPolyArp, which is then abstracting chords. I also have Midiflow changing note values to CC so Beatmaker can change the pattern on SPA. This answers all of your questions.
