Zeeon AU not seen by Xynthesizr in AB3

I know Zeeon is still in beta but when I plug both in AUM and point Xynthesizr at Zeeon in AUMs settings all works as intended.

When it is all plugged into AB3 I can't see Zeeon in Xynthesizr's settings and there's no routing page in AB3 afaik. Is there a secret step that I'm missing or does an app need to be ' audiobus midi sender' in order to send midi? I thought they weren't exclusive and virtual midi was still available even in AB3. Maybe this doesn't apply to AU? Confuzzzed.

  • As I've understood it AB3 disables 'Core Midi'?! This is done to avoid duplicate midi-messages...
I could be wrong here though...

  • Use the midiflow adapter to send Xynthesirz midi to the AB3 midi pipeline

That is a flaw IMO. There should at least be a on/off switch in settings but I imagine AB guys want to keep things flush and minimal.

I see. Could be an option, thanks.

  • I think the main 'flaw' here is that AB3 can not be 'seen' thru CoreMidi or VirtualMidi making it impossible to route midi to AUv3's hosted in AB3...

Agreed, therefore making it a closed system.
