My understanding is :
BM3 would run on iOS 9 with AB2 not AB3 . On iOS 10 AB3 can run apps designed for AB2 so BM3 will run on AB3 .
The term AB 3 optimized is slightly misleading.
I want to understand the same but it will be great some clearification from devs almost to understand what's going on... lately AB forum has a lot of drama xD
Anyone know if the iconnectivity issues were fixed? Fixed withouta workaround? That is a huge issue for me
To be honest other than @Munibeast I'm not sure if any other iconnectivity user still has issues.
The SDK is compatible with iOS 9.
The Audiobus 3 SDK can be used in Audiobus 2 and Audiobus 3. The Audiobus 3 SDK can also be used in apps on iOS 9.
The Audiobus 3 APP requires iOS 10.
It's hard to find a short tag that explains this and is understandable to users. We could call the tag "Audiobus 3 SDK" but then few users know what a SDK is.
Optimized seemed to be the best solution for us because apps are optimized to launch into the background with Audiobus 3 and conform to some behind the curtains things.
Thanks for clarifying! So then SynthMaster player seems to be buggy. The AB3 feature
"launch into the background" won't work with my iPad Air 2 and 10.3.1.
I think AB3 SDK is more understandable because people could always google SDK which will give a user friendly explanation. But I'm a developer so for me it's clearer with SDK than optimized. Maybe AB3 API?
I've already contacted the developer.
Yeah, API will be much more understandable for non-developers than SDK. /s
Thanks @Sebastian!
