iMini Virtual MIDI Problems
Until I used iMini I've never had any problem with sending virtual MIDI to any synth apps using BeatMaker 2, but for some reason iMini refuses to work with it. BM2 shows up in iMini's MIDI connection panel, but doesn't actually work.
Arturia seems unconcerned with this problem, as their own silence on the matter seems to indicate: http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=13016.0
Does anyone have virtual MIDI working with iMini?
Comments
Will it work if you use the BM2 keyboard?
I can drive iMini just fine from Cubasis. Have you tried selecting Virtual MIDI out in BM2 instead of iMini? That's what works for me in Cubasis.

Virtual Midi working here. But they could really add some more midi function for this synth.
Think you need midi bridge to get it working, that was the only way I could use it in virtual midi mode.
There's an echo on this thread.
That would be inter app audio selecting multiple outputs.
I downloaded an app called Freewi. Send midi out from BM2 to this app and iMini should work now. Search the threads here - there are more detailed instructions if you need.
I confirm that it works with Freewi, which is the free version from Midi bridge. You will have to set up Freewi as BM2 is two octaves too low as I recall.
Update to iMini is out and it receives virtual midi from other apps and you can specify the channel. The virtual midi for iMini will display in an app like Arpeggionome Pro but you have to have Arpeggionome Pro send out its virtual midi as you get nothing when it's set to IMini.
Works in Audiobus in iOS 8.
