  • Hey, fellow sonic dabblers. This is a fabulous little app for messing around developing ideas. Then with Midi out recording them into your DAW or via AUM.

For trained musicians, the mighty Doug loved this app, so maybe you will, too.

At the price this is a steal.

  • And here's Sir Doug's take:

  • Bought to support a top notch dev.

  • For some reason, Doug didn't get around to demonstrating Midi out, probably because it's an IAP. But the feature works well, and obviously allows you to use three other apps. Animoog sounds great.

  • Is MIDI out still an IAP?

    No

  • Fun little app

You can control separate apps via each of the three tracks?

Now that is interesting if that's the case...

  • it's great for coming up with quick ideas this one and universal too.

MIDI out was IAP but the dev made it free at some point. Another reason to support him.

It's ok. Grabbed to support dev. Pretty basic but fun and definitely a good buy for $3. What's that come out to on your side of the pond with all the brexit stuff? I read the brexit hammer was starting to drop this week will all the price hikes. Don't understand it all myself to be honest, but seems really unpopular. Any chance they can stop or reverse it at any point? Has it really effected app pricing all that much? I mean, I just paid $3 for a tall coffee, that wasn't really that great.

  • $2,99/€2,99 was before, $2,99/€3,49 is now. It won't break your/our bank account, but no good news.

Not getting into a political argument here with you or anyone , I joined to talk about music apps. So I'll make one post only then retire from comment on this subject.

No, you don't understand,.The Leave vote was and is popular among the majority of the electorate. As I hope you will agree, it is always better to speak from a position of knowkedge. :/

Reversing the decision would be going against the democratic will of the majority. Such is the intensity of feeling on both sides that such action - which is very unlikely - might even lead to civil war. A bit like if your Democrats found a way to cancel out the Republican vote that was fairly reached, that gave you President Trump.

We may not always like it or agree, but if we want to live in a democracy, we have to respect the vote.

Heh! Your reply reminds me of some ol' blokes Nathan and Nickersov who used to hang here and get all upset about this stuff. Chill "zen" it was just a question.

What ever. Was just asking @MonzoPro not you. Toodles!

Yes, on a good day. ;) You know how Midi can be.

Thanks! Just bought it, it's not the most accurate thing but it's a lot of fun, and the key change option is useful. I used an iM1 patch for the drums, and it sounded great.

You are welcome. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have, and Midi behaves!

Yeah, doesn't seem that bad, yet. But maybe a bigger sting with the bigger ticket apps? Hope it levels out for y'all soon.

Pardon me. Just trying to explain something. I won't make the same mistake again.

I was using Unique for the bass, but it seemed to skip a few notes when switching patterns - could be the synth or my pattern though. No biggie, it's a fun app for three quid, and I'll definitely use it on a couple of tracks.

I like the key change, you can build up a nice track that way.

    Probably for the best.

By the way... the random generated pattern sequences Dot Medoly can create was a very nice surprise discovery and worth the price of admission alone IMO.

  • Fun little app... Enjoying it as a different way to muddle into happy accidents. Do wish the randomization control was not buried in the UI.

Yeah tried those - shame you can't draw them in on that bit.

Definitely a lot of fun for the price of a pint though, and it'll earn it's keep on a track or two.

  • Seem to have Ableton Link too..

    Bought...

  • I'm having a bit of fun with this.
