Final Touch crashing in Modstep
This drives my crazy. Can't get Final Touch working as IAA-efx in Modstep. It crashes every time. Any ideas how to fix this and get it working?

Yep!...... It's still broken for a long time. Buggy as hell........ I have emailed them, yet again(about week ago)....... It's still IAA problematic, as well as Audio Bus problematic. You can use it for Mastering. E.g. If you mixdown (WAV file at around -6, to give yourself headroom) from your DAW, then save your project to Audioshare. Then load it from Audioshare to Final Touch, then save it out to Dropbox. Then it'll work.
How do you guys get final touch to clear its cashe? After working on large wav file, 800 megs, and deleting afterwards still shows over one gig install size.
sigh the modstep devs should just rip out the iaa and Aux hosting at this point. it was originally conceived as just a sequencer. and when used as such it is pretty damn stable. just wish the devs stuck with the original vision![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
I'm curious how anyone gets to the stage of using final touch in ModStep. How does one get to a final mix with no panning? I mean, I guess you can put something like ZMors on each channel, but ... meh
That seems a bit harsh IMO. It does some things well, others not so much.
I think they have been trying to provide a self-contained composing / performing platform that doesn't require all the midi cross wiring crap we all complain so much over in IOS, more than a full fledged DAW. Easier said than done.
