Illuminati?
It's the greek capital letter Sigma. Also used to indicate the mathematical symbol for "Sum". In the case of AUM I guess it refers to the fact that "mixing signals" is actually "summing" them. In the case of Stria it's probably just a reference to the first letter of the name.

The book was written by John Higgs, not the KLF. It is his insights that intrigue.
Some of the very interesting detail includes exactly why KLF burned a million quid. More of a surprise, and more considered than most folk think.
I am more a John Lilly fan myself.
