Nice vid Doug. This is a really impressive synth, beautiful sounds and a great interface. Original rumours had a June release date, beta updates are still being released, although the latest was RC2, so shouldn't be too far away!

Good looking/sounding synth, bit different from existing offerings so could be an instabuy.
Thank´s! Wanted to see a video about this. It can for sure create some versatile sounds. Not sure yet if they got the audio rate modulation right. The only iOS synth i used and/or heard a demo which seems to got that right is Model 15 and the coming Zeeon synth (i bet it will be the new standard in analog sounds in the iOS world for a long time).
I really would like to hear some FM and PWM on this trough all the octaves. I missed the "squelchy" low end and there was a bit too much reverb on the demo. I would like to hear some extreme filter sweeps with high resonance.
Is there a filter drive? And what about feedback knob?
Sorry, too many questions. I´m just a sucker for these vintage synths lately. Is it based on analog component modeling or is it more of a free interpretation emulation with extras?
However, if that will have an iPhone version i have to buy it since it will be interesting to reverse engineer some of my favorite patches from other Minimoog emulations or modulars and try how they sound in Mood.
I missed also the thing about the sample import in the video.
I see a greyed out envelope under the noise osc. Is that for the samples?
Or can you load samples as "normal" OSC?

Just counted up, and I have 32 synths. And that is after my recent cull of apps not being used, or likely to be. Nobody this side of Jordan Rudess needs more.
Oops, forgot the AU only Viking. So make that 33. Oh no, wait a minute, I should probably count the 8 other AU specialised synth apps. So, grand total of 41.
Mood is so damn lovely. But multiple Aux instances can completely kill the CPU on an iPad Air2. So word of warning. You will need to freeze If you intend on doing more than 3 polyphonic instances with tons of modulation and effects.... That being said redshrike, mood, phasemaker, poison, isem, enkl, Viking, troublemaker, addictive pro.... You can pretty much go Aux only when you want synth sounds at this point.... Such a lovely time to be on iOS

Cool, thanks for the vid Doug! I only had the init patch for testing so was really nice to finaly hear other patches... and realise yet again what a synth design junior wannabe I am. Looking forward to tweaking presets as usual.
The manual just seems to cover the technical stuff of menu operation/midi/sample import, etc., So......
Sadly there is no PWM (other than LFO-automated jumps from square to pulse to thinner pulse), no filter drive but a pre/post distortion effect, no feedback knob, more of a free interpretation of the Minimoog (with the liberties of FM section and a warp [sample] 'oscillator'), runs just fine on iPhone (can't stand the menu diving involved in the AU and iPhone versions, though), the greyed out envelope is an optional envelope for the pink/white noise and I have found it very useful, samples fall under the 'warp' section

It's safely in my top 3 of iOS synths, right along with the Moogs, with all that said. Though the PWM is sorely missed, there's enough greatness in it to easily justify a purchase.

To be honest I try to buy everything that comes out so I can teach some of my students and have the app they have questions on. I love to support anything IOS music or video related
I gotta say, the combination of great developers, presets created by forum members here and demos by persons like Doug and Jakob have paved the way for a golden era of sounds and music--thanks for all who have made iOS such a joy to experience!

Not really. It has more to do with workflow and what I actually use. But the ratio of apps that I buy versus the apps that I actually use worries me.
lol I so feel you glad there cheap. I was doing this on a PC it started with $1000 Komplete 10 then $1000 maschine studio lol then $1000 komplete kontrol s88. lol way to much money for what I needed but I love it lol. That shit sits in the studio my ipad set up is in my room in my car in my hotel in my church at my girls house or with my son and the bad ass kids at the park lol. The ipad apps themselves dont take up the space its the sample I load in lol the stems in backed up from Auria pro. I ported over Maschine studio library expansion packs into beatmaker 3 32 gigs of samples lol

Mhhhh.......not true yet (for me) but it seems to get close and for the price tag it´s anyway already awesome.
For sure i will compete it against The Legend and some other vintage stuff when it comes out
The thing is just i heard that too often and since i can compete them side by side there is still a gap.
But i´m sure it´s getting closer and closer.
At least i think a listener trough Apple headphones wouldn´t care or hear a big different.
